Why we Built This.

From Dads to Dads was created because the experience of going through separation as a father can feel genuinely isolating.
– The legal system is complicated.
– The emotional toll is real but rarely spoken about openly.
– And finding advice that’s actually written with fathers in mind, rather than bolted on as an afterthought, is harder than it should be.

This platform brings together first-hand accounts from dads who’ve been through it, alongside input from family law professionals and mental health experts. Everything here is written to be honest, readable, and useful, not to scare you or overwhelm you.

Our Editorial Approach

Everything published on From Dads to Dads goes through an editorial review before it goes live. We don’t publish content that hasn’t been checked for accuracy, and we’re clear about the difference between personal experience and professional advice.

Where articles touch on legal, financial, or medical matters, we make sure they’re reviewed by a qualified professional and include appropriate signposting. Personal stories are published with the contributor’s consent and, where requested, anonymised.

We’re independent. We don’t have an agenda beyond supporting fathers. Advertisers and partners do not influence our editorial content, and we’ll always be transparent when content is sponsored or produced in partnership with a third party.

Write For Us

If you’re a dad who’s been through separation and you’d like to share your experience, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to be a writer. You just need to have something honest to say.

We also welcome contributions from family law professionals, mental health practitioners, financial advisers, and other experts who work with fathers and families.

All contributors are credited unless they request anonymity. We review every submission before publication and reserve the right to edit for clarity, length, and accuracy.
